Job summary

West Monroe is seeking a Senior Agentic Designer to join its Technology & Experience practice within the Software discipline. You will bridge experience design, software, and AI to create agentic workflows that translate complex needs into intuitive experiences.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to move concepts from discovery through implementation, using generative AI responsibly. You will engage with clients, lead workshops, and shape end-to-end design strategies while

Qualifications

• 5+ years in experience design, product design, service design, software consulting, or related field with consulting background.
• Direct client-facing experience, workshops, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience designing agentic workflows and agentic experiences, including human-agent interactions and decision points.
• Strong understanding of generative AI, AI agents, conversational or interaction design for AI-enabled software.
• Ability to translate complex processes into intuitive experiences, prototypes, journeys, service blueprints, or workflows.
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, facilitation, communication, and QA skills.
• Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) into day-to-day workflows with critical thinking to mitigate bias.
• Ability to travel 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead agentic design workstreams translating objectives, user needs, and technical capabilities into strategies and design requirements.
• Design end-to-end agentic workflows defining interactions among users, AI agents, systems, data, and human-in-the-loop points.
• Facilitate client workshops to uncover needs, map workflows, and align stakeholders on future experiences.
• Apply human-centered design to agentic systems emphasizing trust, transparency, and responsible AI.
• Collaborate with engineers, product leaders, designers, data and AI specialists, and client stakeholders from discovery to implementation.
• Prototype and test agentic experiences, refining interactions and orchestration based on findings.
• Manage deliverables, identify and mitigate risks, ensure client satisfaction.
• Quality assure work and communicate rationale, tradeoffs, and implications clearly to clients.
• Contribute agentic design expertise to proposals, pursuits, and client research.
• Share expertise to develop reusable design methods, patterns, tools, accelerators.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and support data-driven recommendations, with sound judgment.
