Job summary

Salesforce is recruiting Deployment Strategists – Strategic Builders to advise customers, shape AI strategy, and drive adoption of agentic AI within enterprise accounts. Engagements are customer-facing, time-bound, and may span multiple customers or a single strategic account.

You'll work beside Forward Deployed Engineers translating business challenges into deployable AI solutions, contributing to governance and responsible AI practices across government, nonprofit, and education sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in strategic solutioning, technical advisory, or delivery leadership for enterprise cloud or SaaS technology.
• Experience in Public Sector, Higher Education, or Nonprofit environments.
• Prior customer-facing delivery experience.
• Understanding of Salesforce platform and Data Cloud.
• Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, Java, or Apex.
• Ability to lead and own complex engagements end-to-end.
• Experience leading AI/LLM solution design and responsible AI practices.
• Strong project and program management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customer engagement across the complete value lifecycle—Identify, Commit, Deploy, Consume—owning outcomes at every stage.
• Define the customer's AI strategy and roadmap; lead design workshops and agent design sessions.
• Oversee deployment timelines, stakeholder communication, risk escalation, and progress reporting.
• Own adoption, consumption, and expansion metrics within the engagement scope.
• Coordinate with Forward Deployed Engineers to align strategy with execution.
• Develop real customer solutions using AI tools to accelerate development.
• Manage government, nonprofit, and education stakeholders and present business value.
• Assess AI readiness and guide change management and process transformation.
• Provide actionable product feedback for Salesforce's Agentic AI platform roadmap.
