Job summary

Salesforce is hiring Deployment Strategists – Strategic Builders who will advise customers on AI strategy and architect agentic solutions. You will lead end-to-end engagements, collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers, and drive measurable adoption for enterprise clients across government, nonprofit, and education sectors.

You will shape AI roadmaps, design workshops, and deliver real value through Salesforce’s Agentic AI platform, Data Cloud, and related enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in strategic solutioning, technical advisory, or delivery leadership for enterprise cloud or SaaS.
• Proven experience delivering customer-facing projects in Public Sector, Higher Education, or Nonprofit environments.
• Prior customer-facing delivery experience (consulting, professional services, or technical advisory).
• Demonstrated understanding of the Salesforce platform and ecosystem, including Agentic AI capabilities and Data Cloud.
• Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, Java, or Apex.
• Proven ability to lead and own complex, ambiguous engagements end-to-end.
• Experience leading AI/LLM solution design, including agentic AI strategy, conversation design, and responsible AI practices.
• Strong project and program management skills – ability to run multiple work-streams and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customer engagement across the value lifecycle—Identify, Commit, Deploy, Consume.
• Define the customer’s Agentic AI strategy and roadmap; architect solutions spanning Salesforce’s Agentic AI platform, Data Cloud, and enterprise systems.
• Manage engagement delivery timelines, stakeholder communication, risk escalation, and progress reporting.
• Own adoption, consumption, and expansion metrics; identify blockers and drive value realization.
• Coordinate with Forward Deployed Engineers to align strategy with technical execution and delivery milestones.
• Build real customer solutions using AI tools like Cursor, Claude, and Vibes.
• Serve as the primary customer-facing contact with Government, Nonprofit, and Education customers; present business value proposals.
• Assess customer readiness for AI adoption and guide change management.
• Synthesize field insights into actionable product feedback for Salesforce’s Agentic AI platform roadmap.
