Job summary

The Atlantic District in Lusby, Maryland is hiring an Insurance Sales Agent to grow our local presence. You will connect with neighbors, assess needs, and present tailored coverage solutions, helping families and small businesses protect what matters most.

Ideal candidates bring an active Maryland P&C license, 3+ years in insurance sales, and a proven sales track record. We offer a base salary, commission, benefits, and a supportive team focused on growth.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Property and Casualty license.
• Three years of professional experience in insurance sales or high-volume client advising.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding individual sales targets.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and agency management software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify coverage gaps for potential and existing clients.
• Develop and present tailored insurance quotes that align with specific household or business requirements.
• Manage a consistent pipeline of prospects through networking and community engagement in the Lusby area.
• Ensure all policy applications and documentation meet strict regulatory and internal quality standards.
• Maintain open lines of communication with underwriters and claims departments to resolve issues quickly for our clients.
• Participate in regular strategy sessions to refine sales techniques and improve overall customer retention.
