Job summary

The Atlantic District is seeking an energetic Insurance Agent for our Westminster, Maryland office. You will help community members identify the right coverage, build lasting client relationships, and contribute to a trusted local agency.

With a supportive team and opportunities for career growth, you will work Monday through Friday, delivering personalized service and coordinating with underwriting partners to ensure smooth policy processing.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Property & Casualty license is required.
• 3+ years of experience in direct insurance sales or account management.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both over the phone and in writing.
• Proficiency with modern insurance management software and digital documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Westminster and Carroll County market trends.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage with potential clients to understand their insurance needs and goals.
• Analyze current coverage gaps and provide tailored policy recommendations.
• Manage and nurture a growing book of business through client outreach and reviews.
• Coordinate with underwriting partners for accurate applications and timely processing.
• Participate in local community events and networking to increase agency visibility.
• Resolve client inquiries and billing questions with empathy and timely service.
