The Atlantic District in Fairfax is seeking an insurance agent who prioritizes real human connection over high-pressure sales. You will build relationships with local families and small businesses, assess coverage needs, and draft tailored proposals to protect their futures.

You will guide clients through renewals, maintain compliant records, and collaborate with underwriters, leveraging a local network to support responsible financial planning.

Qualifications

• Active Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Three or more years of experience in insurance sales or account management.
• Strong comfort level with digital documentation and agency management systems.
• Clear, empathetic communication skills when discussing sensitive financial planning.
• Background in local community networking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Connect with local families and small business owners to assess their unique insurance coverage needs.
• Draft and present customized insurance proposals that offer genuine protection and peace of mind.
• Guide current clients through policy renewals and adjustments as their life circumstances change.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure all documentation meets regulatory standards.
• Participate in local community events to foster relationships and represent our agency with integrity.
