Farmers Insurance is seeking an Agency Sales Manager to lead a growing district and build a high-performing sales team. The program includes extensive training, a $5,000 startup bonus, and a competitive compensation plan with bonuses.

Ideal candidates are experienced business owners or sales professionals, with a background in real estate, lending, or operations. This on-site role emphasizes relationship-building, strategic marketing, and leadership within a Fortune 500 brand.

Qualifications

• Sales, business development, and/or management experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage a marketing pipeline and sales funnel.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Desire to build a strong sales team and handle day-to-day operations.
• Ability to pass a criminal and financial background check.
• Missouri Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
• Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
• Share training and education knowledge and expertise with team members.
• Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.
• Present and explain insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals.
• Develop and implement new marketing and sales strategies.
