The Atlantic District in Bowie, Maryland is seeking an Agency Lead to oversee daily operations, mentor our sales team, and protect client assets with a focus on service excellence. You will guide strategy and nurture community relationships to set the standard for integrity in our market.

Requirements include a Maryland Property & Casualty license and 3+ years in insurance sales or agency management, plus a proven growth record and strong organizational habits.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License in Maryland.
• Three or more years of experience in insurance sales or agency management.
• Proven track record of mentoring others and achieving growth targets.
• Deep understanding of the local Maryland insurance market.
• Strong organizational habits and comfort with agency management software.
• Professional certification such as CIC or ARM is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure our agency runs smoothly and effectively.
• Guide and support our sales team, helping them refine their approach and hit their goals.
• Analyze our current book of business to find new ways to help our clients protect their assets.
• Represent The Atlantic District in the Bowie community by building meaningful relationships with local business owners.
• Collaborate with leadership to shape our long-term strategy for expansion and service excellence.
• Maintain high standards for customer service by personally stepping in to assist with complex cases.
