The Atlantic District in Suffolk, VA is seeking an Agency Lead to direct daily operations, mentor staff, and strengthen client relationships. You will foster a service-oriented culture, drive growth, and ensure regulatory compliance while guiding a high-performing sales team.

The ideal candidate holds an active Virginia Property & Casualty license with 3+ years in insurance production or agency management, plus solid knowledge of local markets and carrier relationships.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Property & Casualty license.
• Three or more years of experience in insurance production or agency management.
• In-depth knowledge of local insurance markets and carrier relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor team members and grow a book of business.
• Strong organizational skills for managing agency operations and compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for cultivating community connections in Suffolk.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of our Suffolk office to ensure high-quality service for all policyholders.
• Guide and support our sales staff, helping them refine their approach and hit their individual targets.
• Foster strong relationships with current clients while actively seeking ways to engage with the local community.
• Review agency performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and sustainable growth.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers to ensure we offer the most competitive and relevant coverage options.
• Maintain an inviting office atmosphere where both our team and our clients feel valued and heard.
