Must be results oriented with a proven track record in establishing, prioritizing and achieving business goals.
Demonstrated superior communication, negotiation & presentation skills.
Must be self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently from a remote location.
Must maximize technology to ensure high productivity with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & related software.
Valid state driver's license and ability to travel 40–50% of time.

Responsibilities

Develop an agency force pre-qualifying accounts, rate in-house using CLAS and process small business.
Make underwriting decisions in line with pricing philosophies and facilitate easy business with Selective.
Monitor agency results and follow up on growth, profitability, share of wallet and compliance.
Build professional relationships with agent, regional underwriting, claim teams and internal departments.
Direct BSU technical specialists for ITS training and ensure open communication between agent and company.
