Ziegler Ag Equipment is seeking a customer-focused sales professional to join our Ag Sales Team in Minnesota. The Ag Sales Account Manager will develop local customer relationships and sell products to fit operations, representing leading brands and Ziegler’s used inventory.

The role includes a competitive base salary with uncapped commissions and a company vehicle. Travel up to 50% and on-site demonstrations are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business or agriculture-related field.
• Strong agricultural background.
• Prior sales experience in ag equipment or related equipment is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent written, electronic, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including Word, Excel, and CRM systems.
• Strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
• Willingness to operate equipment for demonstration purposes after training.
• Key personal characteristics: self-motivated, customer-focused, learning-oriented, considerate/empathic, confident, and a strong team player.
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell equipment to prospective and existing customers.
• Serve as primary contact between customers and Ziegler Ag Equipment.
• Build rapport with customers while balancing personal and professional relationships.
• Assist walk-in customers by responding quickly and professionally.
• Collaborate with regional manager, product specialists and manufacturer reps.
• Meet with customers in person or on site to assess needs and tailor recommendations.
• Follow up on all customer leads and inquiries.
• Prospect new customers to grow market share.
• Create and deliver quotes, product information, and materials.
