Job summary

Think Together is seeking an Assistant Site Coordinator in Lynwood, CA, to support daily operations of the expanded learning program and assist the Site Coordinator. You will be the main contact for students, families, staff, and school partners while helping to meet grant requirements and program outcomes.

The role requires strong communication, supervisory experience, and the ability to organize schedules, plan events, and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience supervising staff and programs preferred.
• Ability to work with youth in afterschool/ classroom settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or assist in managing day-to-day operations of the expanded learning program.
• Support supervision of program staff (Afterschool Youth Leaders, Instructors).
• Assist with interviewing, hiring recommendations, disciplinary actions, and staff evaluations.
• Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to program staff.
• Create and organize program schedules including academics, recreation, and enrichment activities.
• Plan and participate in events and field trips for the program.
• Maintain positive relationships with school personnel, Think Together staff, students and families.
• Recruit students to meet attendance outcomes per grant requirements.
• Assist with safety, policy adherence, and staff coaching as needed.
• Disseminate information to staff and maintain documentation timely.
