Arc Experience, based in Southern California, seeks an energetic Site Coordinator to lead afterschool programs, mentor leads, and supervise staff. You will organize daily activities, ensure student safety, and foster growth in a dynamic, engaging environment across multiple sites.

The role emphasizes collaboration with school partners, budget oversight, and adherence to safety and licensing standards, with full-time benefits and strong community impact.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in after-school programming operations or similar
• 1+ years managing a team
• Excellent communication with kids, parents, school staff
• Ability to supervise staff without constant direction
• Collaborate with all levels of staff and maintain confidentiality
• CPR/First Aid training or willing to obtain within 12 months
• TB test and Live Scan background check compliance

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily afterschool programs and activities
• Ensure programs are engaging and support academic, social, and emotional development
• Recruit, train, and manage afterschool program staff
• Serve as main contact for school administration and build partnerships
• Develop staff schedules and conduct performance evaluations
• Provide professional development to enhance staff effectiveness
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment for staff and students
• Address student behavior constructively and with organizational guidance
• Monitor attendance and engagement and communicate with parents
• Maintain records (attendance, incidents, evaluations)
• Ensure compliance with licensing and safety requirements
• Develop and manage program budget and resources
• Coordinate transportation and meals as needed
• Represent the organization positively to stakeholders
