Job summary

National CORE is seeking an Afterschool Program Site Coordinator to work with parents, program staff and students to deliver a safe, well-supervised afterschool experience at a local site. The role emphasizes curriculum implementation, supervision and mentoring to promote health, wellness, academics and character development among youth.

This part-time, non-exempt position reports to the Youth Program Coordinator and may involve coordinating volunteers, maintaining program records and supporting

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and youth development orientation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise students in afterschool program; maintain order and conduct.
• Create and facilitate engaging activities in health, wellness, character development, and STEAM.
• Lead and supervise staff or volunteers in alignment with policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and assist with setup/breakdown on program days.
• Keep accurate meal records and support snack/meals program.
• Attend community events as needed.
