Job summary

The Afterschool Program Site Coordinator supports parents, staff, and students in delivering a safe, engaging afterschool program. You will mentor youth, model positive behavior, and help students develop health, wellness, and academic skills. This part-time role requires teamwork, strong communication, and leadership across program staff.

You will report to the Youth Program Coordinator and help plan activities, supervise staff, and ensure smooth daily operations at the site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Experience with children/teens in a professional setting.
• Strong leadership and ability to coordinate volunteers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise students in afterschool program; assure understanding of rules.
• Create and facilitate engaging activities in health, wellness, character, and STEAM.
• Develop a calendar of activities to complement student learning and enrichment.
• Lead and supervise youth, recognize issues, apply procedures.
• Maintain a positive environment that is safe, respectful and motivating.
• Provide leadership to staff or volunteers in alignment with policies.
