Job summary

YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking an Afterschool Site Lead to manage a licensed school-age program in Pearland, TX. You will ensure safety, deliver YMCA curriculum, and support children and families.

This part-time leadership role requires building strong relationships with school partners and staff, managing enrollment and attendance records, and fostering a positive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 70 clock hours in youth development or related fields.
• CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention certifications required (or ability to obtain).
• Experience with youth in licensed childcare or related setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead licensed school-age enrichment program ensuring safety and engagement.
• Coordinate daily operations and implement YMCA curriculum.
• Ensure licensing compliance and build relationships with families, school partners, and YMCA staff.
• Maintain enrollment and attendance records; manage program quality and growth.
