Job summary

YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking an Afterschool Site Lead to serve as the primary leader for a licensed school-age enrichment program, ensuring children are safe, supported, and engaged daily.

You will coordinate operations, implement YMCA curriculum, and build strong relationships with families and school partners, while maintaining program quality and compliance with state standards.

Qualifications

• Plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate activities.
• Experience working with youth in licensed childcare or similar.
• Ability to pass state/local background checks and FBI fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a licensed school-age enrichment program and ensure safety and engagement.
• Coordinate daily program operations and maintain attendance records.
• Ensure licensing compliance and maintain relationships with families and partners.
• Oversee program planning, evaluation, and quality standards.
