Job summary

ATI Specialty Alloys & Components in Albany, Oregon is seeking a Production Supervisor for a swing shift (2 PM–10 PM, Mon-Fri). You will lead a 10–15 person team, drive safety and quality, and coordinate cross-functional activities to meet production goals.

Strong leadership and problem solving are essential. Required is a HS diploma with 3+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and union experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or related field is preferred.
• Experience leading teams in a union environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work toward establishing a team environment that fosters Safety and Quality.
• Plan and direct department activities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Lead, motivate and train personnel using strong leadership skills.
• Monitor processes to identify problems and opportunities for improvement.
• Identify and lead improvement events.
• Facilitate cross functional problem-solving teams.
• Enforce policies per labor agreement while maintaining required provisions.
• Apply Task Standardization Process to areas and incidents to prevent recurrence.
• Write and update documents reflecting current work practices.
• Establish systems for production management to sustain goals.
• Coordinate training to meet standard work and instructions.
• Ensure adherence to customer requirements and production schedules.
