Qualifications

• 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or related field is preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a union environment is highly preferred.
• Full Face Respiratory may be required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing practices and continuous improvement concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of up to 20 direct reports in safe, efficient operations.
• Develop processes and equipment utilization strategies to meet production goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including union workforce, engineering, quality, and safety.
• Identify problems and drive continuous improvement events.
• Ensure adherence to labor agreement and production schedules.
• Write and maintain documents reflecting current work practices.
