Job summary

ATI Specialty Alloys & Components in Millersburg, Oregon, is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Fabrication Department. This swing shift role (3 PM–11 PM) leads a team of 20 direct reports, coordinating with unionized staff and cross-functional teams to meet production goals and customer requirements.

You will drive through lean initiatives, develop processes, and ensure safe, efficient operations with strong communication across shifts.

Qualifications

• 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business preferred.
• Union environment experience preferred.
• LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 20 direct reports with safety and quality as the foundation.
• Plan and direct department activities for safe, efficient operations.
• Apply leadership to motivate and train personnel.
• Monitor processes to identify problems and improvement opportunities.
• Lead improvement events and implement effective changes.
• Enforce policies and labor agreement provisions.
• Standardize tasks to prevent recurrence and reflect current work practices.
• Develop production management systems to meet goals with minimal intervention.
• Coordinate training to ensure tasks follow standard work.
