Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Thurston County is seeking a Youth Development Professional to deliver engaging after-school programs for K-5 students and help maintain a safe, positive club environment in the Schneiders Prairie area of Washington. The role involves teamwork with staff, parents, and community partners, plus occasional Teen Center coverage.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and experience working with youth; CPR/First Aid certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or current enrollment).
• Experience working with youth, parents/guardians, or community partners.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise activities in program areas and deliver age-appropriate programs for K-5.
• Actively supervise to promote a safe, positive environment and daily participation.
• Maintain positive Club culture with high energy and collaboration with staff.
• Attend mandatory trainings and assist with front desk supervision as needed.
