Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County in Edmonds, WA is seeking a Youth Development Professional to implement programs that support Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Good Character & Citizenship. You will help create a safe, engaging environment for youth ages 5-18 and work under the Unit Director to deliver activities and supervise daily operations.

Qualifications

• Sixteen (16) years of age or older.
• Ability to remain positive and organized in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to incorporate organizational values fun, respect, integrity, community, and acceptance into all practices.
• Prior experience working with youth or a background in early childhood education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Program Director in planning and implementing activities for youth.
• Manage program supplies and equipment.
• Engage youth in sports, STEM, and arts and crafts.
• Supervise children and ensure safety per WA state law and BGCSC standards.
• Prepare snacks and practice food safety.
