Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking a Jr. Youth Development Professional to support after-school childcare programs in Seaford, DE. The role assists with delivering engaging activities for ages 6–12 and ensures a safe, supervised environment.

Under the IPT and Club Director supervision, you will help implement state-licensed programs, model positive behavior, and uphold club policies and Delaware STARS standards. Must be 16+ and able to obtain work permits for under-18s.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Work permits are required for all employed minors under 18.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Delacare rules for school-age centers.
• Assist Childcare/Program Director in delivering age-appropriate programs for ages 6–12.
• Safely implement programs and activities, including equipment and facilities.
• Present yourself as a positive role model for children.
• Adhere to Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware policies.
• Contribute to a positive identity for the Club in the community.
• Adhere to Delaware STARS policies.
• Assume other tasks as needed.
