Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a Before and After School Support Leader to assist students with special education needs, helping individuals and small groups with curriculum and behavior strategies. You will work under the direction of the program director to implement plans and document progress.

The role emphasizes adherence to licensing requirements, strong communication with parents and staff, and daily collaboration in program development and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.
• Must be age 18 or over.
• Experience with at least one qualifying path: 3 months (455 hours) of care for 4+ children or a Level I early childhood credential.
• Each year, June 1 through May 31, complete at least 15 clock hours of training.
• Knowledge of most aspects of childcare.
• Ability to develop and utilize appropriate discipline procedures.
• Leadership and management skill.
• Ability to make appropriate decisions and to solve problems effectively.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follows and enforces all licensing requirements; assists with program activities and adaptations.
• Provide care for children with special needs; assist with G-tube, feeding, positioning, and daily activities.
• Implement accommodations and 504 plan components; maintain progress records.
• Maintain safety protocols and reinforce appropriate behavior; support social interactions.
• Assist with materials, attendance, and documentation; help with events like drills.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, staff, and district personnel.
• Maintain student confidentiality daily.
• Attend required professional development trainings and perform other duties as assigned.
