Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.
• Leader must be 18 years or older.
• At least 3 months of verified care for 4+ children (not related).
• Early childhood credential level I or higher (version 3.0).
• Annual professional development: at least 15 clock hours (June 1 – May 31).

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing requirements and adapt programming for individual child needs.
• Provide physical care and assist with activities including meals, toileting, and daily routines.
• Implement 504 plan supports and document progress with the program director.
• Maintain safety protocols and reinforce positive behavior.
• Assist with programming materials, attendance, and event-related tasks.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, staff, and district personnel.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Attend required professional development trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
