Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a motivated Before and After School Leader to assist the program director in planning and delivering the child care program. You will help create engaging activities, monitor safety, and foster strong relations with families and school staff.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• The leader must be age 18 or over.
• One of the following qualifications: three months of verified childcare experience or an early childhood credential Level I.
• Annual 15 clock hours of training.
• Knowledge of childcare basics and safety.
• Ability to discipline appropriately and supervise others.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Follow Colorado licensing requirements and support program compliance.
• Supervise students during program times and engage with them.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and community members.
• Maintain safe conditions for all participants and staff.
• Promote the program to families and schools.
• Attend professional development trainings as required.
• Assist in planning quality daily lessons and activities.
• Help with equipment maintenance and supplies management.
• Contribute ideas for enrichment activities and field trips.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
