Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a Before and After School Support Leader to assist students with special education needs, delivering individualized and small-group support aligned with curriculum and behavior strategies.

Role includes implementing 504 accommodations, maintaining progress notes, and collaborating with the program director, staff, and families, while upholding safety and confidentiality in a dynamic school setting.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.
• Leader must be 18 or over.
• Three months (455 hours) of verified care and supervision experience.
• Or possess early childhood credential level I or higher (version 3.0).
• Annual 15 clock hours of training (June 1–May 31).
• Knowledge of childcare basics.
• Ability to develop discipline procedures.
• Some leadership and management skill.
• Ability to make decisions and to solve problems effectively.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing requirements and adapt activities to individual needs.
• Provide technical physical care (toileting, grooming, feeding, G-tube, ROM).
• Implement 504 plan accommodations and maintain progress records.
• Uphold safety protocols and support social interactions.
• Assist with materials, attendance, and events (e.g., fire drills).
• Exhibit strong communication with parents, students, staff; maintain confidentiality.
• Participate in professional development trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
