Cherry Creek Schools seeks a dedicated Before and After School Leader to assist the program director in planning and implementing high-quality child care services. The role emphasizes community relations, program quality, and coordinated activities for before/after care and full days.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Some leadership and management experience.
• Ability to make appropriate decisions and to solve problems effectively.
• Ability to work with children.

Responsibilities

• Follows and enforces all Colorado Department of Early Childhood licensing requirements.
• Directly supervises and engages with students during program hours.
• Exhibits excellent communication with parents, students, staff and district personnel.
• Maintains safe conditions for all students and staff.
• Promotes and markets the program for before/after care and full days.
• Attends professional development trainings as required by licensing and district.
• Assists in implementing quality lesson plans and may help create lesson plans.
• Assists with maintenance, storage and repair of equipment and supplies.
• Contributes ideas for enrichment activities and program quality.
• Creates and implements activities and field trips for full day programming.
• Attends monthly program staff meetings as required by director.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
