YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South seeks a Site Director to plan and implement daily activities for a School Age Before and After School site, ensuring safety and development for children in line with MSDH and YMCA policies.

You will supervise staff, maintain licensing files, and coordinate with schools and parents while leading a program that supports social, physical, and mental growth.

Formación

• Must hold relevant degree(s) in child development or related field.
• Two-year associate degree with 480 hours practicum.
• Two years paid experience in licensed child care facility.
• CDA or MDHS credential required.

Responsabilidades

• Model the YMCA core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.
• Oversee the operation of a before/after school site and support seasonal camps.
• Maintain licensing standards and conduct licensing inspections.
• Implement daily curriculum and supervise staff and children.
• Lead groups of 15–20 children in activities as per curriculum.
• Manage space setup and maintain organized program areas.
• Supervise and train site staff, including scheduling and coverage.
• Maintain positive school community relationships and communicate with parents.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field

Two-year associate degree in child development technology (with 480 hours practicum)
