Responsibilities

• Model the YMCA core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.
• Oversee small to medium before/after school site operations (20–99 students) and seasonal camps.
• Maintain policies, licensing standards, and conduct licensing inspections.
• Implement daily curriculum per YMCA guidelines; maintain lesson plans and rosters.
• Lead 15–20 children at a time; supervise their activities.
• Set up and break down program space to ensure organized environments.
• Supervise staff; manage schedules and training.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Develop relationships with schools, staff, and parents; conduct conferences.
• Develop and participate in a parent advisory board twice yearly.
• Maintain DHS licensing files for staff and children.
• Assist with billing balances and inventory; manage snacks.
• Participate in YMCA volunteer programs and special projects.
