Job summary

Boys and Girls Clubs of Carson is seeking an After-school Site Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and implement quality education, enrichment, and recreational programs for youth in grades kindergarten-5th. You will supervise staff, ensure safety, and maintain strong partnerships with schools and parents.

The role requires a four-year degree (or equivalent experience), strong organizational skills, and CPR/First Aid certification. Fluency in Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Four-year degree in a related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of youth development experience in a school, childcare, or after-school program setting.
• Proven track record of supervising and running programs for a class of 20+ youth.
• Must have organizational and management skills.
• CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test clearance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and evaluate all site staff.
• Plan, schedule, and ensure implementation of quality programs across core areas.
• Oversee program areas for youth in grades kindergarten-5th.
• Maintain inventory and proper storage of equipment.
• Ensure health and safety standards and a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with supervisor, schools, parents, and partners.
• Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions.
• Create and submit accurate program schedules, attendance, and reports.
