Arc Experience seeks an Assistant Site Coordinator to support site operations in after-school programs. You will work directly with students, assist the Site Coordinator, implement lesson plans, track attendance, and ensure grant compliance.

The role emphasizes safety, strong communication with families, and leadership in indoor and outdoor enrichment activities. Bilingual English-Spanish candidates are especially encouraged. This part-time, non-exempt position reports to the Site Coordinator.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in after-school programs.
• Strong communication with kids and parents.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Coordinator as second point of contact for parents and administrators.
• Oversee safety and well-being of students during after-school activities.
• Coordinate, manage, and be involved in indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Attend trainings or staff meetings to stay updated on best practices in childcare, safety, and program management.
• Address challenging behavior with supervisors or parents if necessary.
• Facilitate sign-up procedures to ensure accurate attendance tracking.
• Create clubs for students (e.g., career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
• Organize and lead activities including homework help, games, arts/crafts, and educational projects.
