Arc Experience in Southern California is seeking a Site Coordinator to lead afterschool programs and mentor program leads while managing staff. You will help students thrive beyond the classroom with a focus on creativity, confidence, and growth.

The role involves recruiting and training staff, coordinating with schools, monitoring attendance, ensuring safety, and supporting parents. It is a full-time, non-exempt position with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in after-school programming operations and administrative skills.
• 1+ years’ experience managing a team.
• Excellent communication with kids, parents, school staff, and teachers.
• Ability to supervise staff with minimal direction.
• Team player with good listening skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Docs; comfortable with common OS.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily afterschool programs and activities.
• Recruit, train, and manage afterschool program staff.
• Serve as primary contact for school administration and families.
• Develop staff schedules and conduct performance evaluations.
• Provide ongoing professional development and training.
• Maintain safe, inclusive environment and address behavior issues.
• Monitor attendance, engage parents and school staff as needed.
• Collaborate with district staff to support program goals.
