Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of San Leandro is seeking a Program Site Coordinator to support after-school programming at sites in the San Leandro and San Lorenzo Unified School Districts. The role ensures programs align with ASES/ELOP grants and maintain a safe, engaging environment.

You will work with staff, students, and community partners to deliver high-quality youth programs, track attendance, and support site leadership under the Program Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience working with youth in after-school, summer camp, or educational setting.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and ensure smooth program operations.
• Knowledge of youth development best practices and safety policies.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn attendance tracking and reporting systems.
• Experience working in a team-oriented environment and building relationships with school staff, families, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Program Support & Implementation: Assist the Program Manager in managing after-school site activities, ensuring program success and safe environment.
• Staff Coordination & Development: Support in supervising Youth Development Professionals, providing training and scheduling.
• Youth Engagement & Supervision: Help staff engage with youth and provide a structured environment.
• Stakeholder & Community Collaboration: Maintain relationships with school admins, teachers, and parents, and coordinate community activities.
• Data Collection & Reporting: Track attendance and program outcomes using MyClubHub and other systems for grant reports.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure safety procedures and licensing requirements are followed and staff trained.
• Special Events & Programming: Assist in planning events, workshops, and training.
• Operational Support & Continuous Improvement: Take on additional duties to improve program efficiency.
