Job summary

YMC is seeking a Site Coordinator I to coordinate and implement activities at an assigned childcare site. The role focuses on creating a safe, well-supervised, enriching atmosphere for youth and collaborating with the Director of Youth Development on weekly updates.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining relationships with families, ensuring safety per policy, and supporting program growth and grant fidelity.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working with school-age children.
• Ability to supervise and lead staff.
• Demonstrated safety awareness and emergency response readiness.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, implements, and directs high quality childcare program and staff.
• Develops positive relationships with children, parents, staff, and volunteers.
• Oversees safety of all participants and follows licensing policies and procedures.
• Assists in implementing new programs and grant fidelity.
• Plan and conduct lessons/activities per YMCA standards and partnerships.
• Oversee budget and inventory and process purchase requests.
