Job summary

YMCA in Ogden, Utah, seeks a Site Coordinator I to coordinate and implement activities at an assigned childcare site. You will supervise staff, foster a safe, enriching environment, and maintain relationships with families, staff, and community partners.

Responsibilities include managing budgets, scheduling, grant fidelity, recruiting participants, and ensuring compliance with licensing and YMCA standards. A high school diploma and experience with children are required, with supervisory

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One or more years’ experience working with school-aged children.
• One or more years of supervisory experience is preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (infant/child) or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to obtain fingerprinting for licensing.
• Demonstrated experience in relationship building with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, implements, and directs high quality childcare program and other program staff for assigned site.
• Develops positive relationships with children, parents, staff, and volunteers.
• Oversees safety of all program participants and follows policies, rules, and emergency procedures.
• Assists in implementing new programs assigned by the Director of Youth Development.
• Facilitates recruitment and retention to maintain attendance goals per grant guidelines.
• Conducts marketing and recruitment at site to increase enrollment and awareness.
