Job summary

Northwest Family YMCA is seeking a School Age Child Care Site Coordinator for a part-time role. The coordinator will plan and supervise a theme-based enrichment program for children in licensed before- and after-school programs, ensuring safety and well-being per YMCA guidelines.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree in a related field and at least two years of relevant experience, including supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in child development, elementary education, PE, or related field.
• Two years direct experience working with children under 13 years including supervisory capacity OR NYS OCFS credentials.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; leadership and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead daily SACC activities.
• Provide leadership to staff and ensure adequate coverage for activities.
• Ensure compliance with NYS OCFS guidelines and YMCA policies.
• Maintain records and participate in required trainings and meetings.
