Job summary

Think Together is seeking a Substitute Program Leader (Part-Time) in California. You will work at multiple sites, guiding students as a positive role model and mentor. Responsibilities include homework help, enrichment activities, behavior support, and ensuring safety.

The role requires HS diploma or GED, and may require additional college units or testing. Availability Mon-Fri 1:00 PM–6:00 PM with year-long commitment and strong English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children providing growth and development support.
• Ability to communicate clearly with students, staff, and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide homework assistance, academic enrichment and physical activity using program materials.
• Create engaging environment fostering belonging for students.
• Support positive behavior and discipline as appropriate.
• Engage students by following and assisting lesson plans.
• Ensure student safety during setup, activities and site maintenance.
• Maintain sign-in/sign-out records and communicate needs to site coordinators.
• Commit to a full-year program with punctual attendance.
• Participate in staff development activities.
