Job summary

Think Together is seeking a Substitute Program Leader (Part-Time) to support students across regional sites. You will provide homework help, enrichment activities, and safe, nurturing environments while following CDC guidelines and site plans.

Responsibilities include implementing lesson plans, promoting positive behavior, ensuring student safety, and communicating needs to site coordinators. Must have HS diploma or GED, and be available 3 days a week, with afternoon hours 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children and ability to inspire and motivate.
• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• 48 college units or 60 college units required or passing an Instructional Aide Test (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide homework assistance, academic enrichment and physical activity using provided curriculum.
• Create an engaging environment that fosters belonging for students.
• Support students in positive behavior choices and apply disciplinary measures when appropriate.
• Engage children and youth by following and creating lesson plans.
• Ensure student safety by set up, break down, and ongoing maintenance of site.
• Promote positive interactions between volunteers and students per child safety guidelines.
• Maintain student safety by taking attendance and signing in/out.
• Identify student needs and communicate with Site Coordinator and staff.
• Commit to a full-year program with punctuality and accurate time cards.
• Participate in staff development activities.
