Job summary

YMCA of Northern Colorado seeks Program Leaders for school-age programs and growth into leadership within Youth Programs. You will supervise children and lead activities, modeling core values in a safe, engaging environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with site staff, attending trainings, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting Program Aides and Volunteers. Flexible, part-time, year-round hours with potential full-time in summer.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-age children; 455 hours documented (e.g., Sunday school, Scouts, sports, volunteering).
• Must be able to work as part of a site team and model YMCA core values.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain through YMCA)
• Strong communication with youth, parents and colleagues; team-oriented attitude.
• 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise children in small and large group activities.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness standards; follow program policies.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings; follow YMCA policies and procedures.
• Provide leadership and support to Program Aides and Volunteers.
• Maintain confidentiality of YMCA issues and records.
