Job summary

YMCA of Northern Colorado is hiring Program Leaders to support school-age programs. Part-time, year-round with potential for full-time in summer; shifts include mornings and afternoons; bilingual staff receive +10% differential. Responsibilities include safe, engaging activities and enforcing YMCA values.

You will lead activities, supervise participants, and collaborate with staff to provide a positive, inclusive environment. CPR/First Aid certification preferred or obtainable through YMCA.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Provide documentation of 480 hours of experience with school-age children.
• CPR and First Aid certification (can be completed through YMCA)
• Ability to work on a team and communicate with youth, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise children in small and large groups.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are followed.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Follow YMCA policies, including emergency and child abuse prevention.
• Maintain professional relationships with staff, parents and community members.
• Be punctual and flexible to schedule changes; support Program Aides and Volunteers.
