Job summary

YMCA is seeking an After School Support Staff for the Kids Club to assist the Site Director/Co-Director in delivering safe, engaging after-school programming. The role involves supervising children, maintaining positive relationships with families, and supporting a range of activities aligned with YMCA values.

The position is part-time, with shifts 2:00 PM–6:00 PM in multiple locations, and may be scheduled 2–5 days per week according to program needs. Passion for youth development is essential.

Qualifications

• Capable of being flexible and taking direction well.
• Prior experience working with children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children.
• Assist Site Director/Co-Director in executing Kids Club procedures.
• Plan and participate in activities: SEL, Arts & Crafts, STEM, Sports & Games, literacy.
• Communicate daily with co-staff and parents/caregivers.
• Take daily attendance and follow Missing Child Procedure.
