Job summary

YMCA is seeking a Part-Time Site Director for Kids Club, Monday to Friday, 3:00–6:00 PM, in Mountain Lakes, NJ. You will lead the Kids Club program, supervise staff, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for school-age children.

You will coordinate STEM, arts & crafts, literacy, sports, and social-emotional activities, mentor staff, and foster positive relationships with families while supporting child development.

Qualifications

• College coursework in education, recreation, or a related field.
• Experience working with children, preferably in an after-school setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• A positive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and oversee daily program operations.
• Build positive relationships with families and caregivers.
• Coordinate engaging activities: STEM, arts & crafts, literacy, sports, SEL.
