Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC seeks an energetic After School Dance Teacher for a part-time role (2–5 hours per week). You will teach dance to elementary students, manage classes, and foster a positive, engaging learning environment at Bay Area partner schools.

Requirements include being 19+ years old, owning a car with a valid driver's license, and a willingness to undergo a live scan background check, TB test, and COVID-19 vaccination. Some training or shadowing may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old at application.
• Experience in teaching or playing pickleball or tennis is preferred but not required.
• USPTA/PTR certification is preferred but not required.
• Enjoy working with kids; strong classroom management.
• Flexibility, reliability, punctuality, and a professional, enthusiastic approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have own car and valid driver's license to use at work.
• Willingness to undergo a live scan background check and TB test before working.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Manage classes of 8-16 students aged 5-10; teach diverse dance forms.
• Attend up to two days of unpaid training/shadowing; set up for each class.
• Take attendance and sign in/out students; interact with parents and school staff.
• Provide feedback for each student by session end; capture photos of sessions.
