Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC. seeks an energetic after-school dance teacher to lead classes for elementary students in Bay Area partner schools. This part-time role involves classroom management, engaging instruction, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Classes are 1–1.5 hours, scheduled weekdays between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., with 2–5 hours per week total. A background in youth activities and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old at application submission.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Flexibility, reliability, punctuality, and a professional, energetic attitude are essential.
• U.S. driving license and own car are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead dance classes for K–3, managing 8–16 students per session.
• Attend short unpaid training/shadowing sessions to learn the program.
• Set up equipment and transport materials as needed for each class.
