Job summary

Calex-Sports-Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic After School Dance Teacher to join our team in the Bay Area. This part-time role involves teaching dance to elementary school kids, managing classes, and creating a positive learning environment.

Classes run on weekdays for 1-1.5 hours after school, with a maximum of 2-5 hours per week. Candidates should be 19+ and have a willingness to undergo a background check and TB test. In-person work across Bay Area schools offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old.
• USPTA/PTR certification preferred but not required.
• Own car and valid driver's license.
• Willingness to undergo a live scan background check and TB test before working.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Class Management: can manage a class size of 8-16 students aged 5-10 and teach different forms of dance.
• Training and Preparation: attend up to two unpaid training/shadowing sessions; transport equipment and set up for each class.
• Administrative Tasks: take attendance, sign in/out students, interact with parents and school staff, provide feedback after each session.
• Documentation: capture photos each session for records.
