Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC is seeking an energetic After School Dance Teacher for in-person classes in the Bay Area. The role is part-time, with 2–5 hours per week, teaching dance to elementary students and managing classes.

You will coordinate with schools, take attendance, communicate with parents, and provide student feedback after each session. Requirements include being 19+, high school or equivalent, reliable transport, and a positive, professional attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old at application submission.
• Experience in pickleball or tennis is preferred but not required.
• USPTA/PTR certification is preferred but not required.
• Must have own car and valid driver''s license to use at work.
• Willingness to undergo a live scan background check and TB test.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Manage a class of 8–16 students ages 5–10.
• Teach different forms of dance to elementary school kids.
• Attend up to two days of unpaid training/shadowing.
• Transport equipment and set up for each class.
• Take attendance and sign in/out students for each class.
• Interact with parents and school office staff as necessary.
• Provide feedback for each student by the end of the session.
• Capture photos of kids in action per session.
