Villa Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Supervisor RN to join our team in Michigan. The role provides after-hours leadership, overseeing nursing staff to ensure proper staffing, workflow, and high-quality patient care.

The supervisor acts as the highest on-site authority after-hours, making timely decisions and guiding clinical staff. Responsibilities include direct nursing care, administrative duties, coordination with other departments, and staff development support.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited College or University.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and leadership to all on-duty nursing staff during non-business hours. Ensure proper staffing levels, monitor workflow, and assist with prioritizing patient care tasks.
• Act as the highest-ranking on-site authority during after-hours and weekends. Make timely decisions related to patient care, staffing, safety, and operations.
• Collaborate with other departments when needed and escalate issues appropriately.
• Develops and maintains care standards and ensures rounds to monitor resident/patient conditions.
• Gives and receives nursing report at shift changes and ensures clean, organized work areas.
