Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Supervisor LPN to lead nursing staff during non-business hours, ensuring staffing, workflow, and quality patient care. You will act as the highest on-site authority after-hours, resolve clinical challenges, and uphold care standards.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care, administrative tasks, coordination with departments, and staff development support. Must have LPN license in Michigan and CPR certification; supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license to practice in Michigan
• CPR certification required
• Supervisory experience preferred (1+ year)
• Long-term care and MDS experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to nursing staff during after-hours, ensuring proper staffing and workflow.
• Act as highest on-site authority after-hours and weekends, making timely clinical and operational decisions.
• Support staff with complex cases and staffing adjustments to ensure continuity of care.
• Develop and maintain care standards and ensure rounds for resident/patient condition checks.
• Oversee nursing reports at shift start and end, and communicate changes to the team.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas and proper storage of medications and supplies.
• Perform administrative tasks such as charting, forms, and evaluations.
• Provide direct nursing care as needed and per department needs.
