Villa Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Supervisor RN to lead nursing staff during non-business hours, ensuring staffing, workflow, and high-quality patient care. You’ll act as the highest on-site authority after-hours, resolving clinical challenges and maintaining care standards.

The role emphasizes direct nursing care, administrative duties, and collaboration with other departments while supporting staff development and ensuring safety and quality in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited College or University.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-Term care and MDS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and leadership to all on-duty nursing staff during non-business hours.
• Act as the highest-ranking on-site authority during after-hours and weekends; make timely decisions.
• Offer clinical expertise and support in resolving patient care challenges.
• Develop and maintain care standards.
• Make frequent rounds to assess resident conditions and nursing performance.
• Provide nursing reports at shift changes.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and rooms.
• Perform administrative duties and charting as required.
• Provide direct nursing care as needed by the department.
• Document restorative care notes with resident responses.
